Working Together

Since 1968, Duynie has been optimizing livestock rations with the inclusion of co-products.

We work with the Duynie Expertise and Research Centre to gain more knowledge on the optimal composition of rations for specific breeds of insects and worms. With this information Duynie Feed can help experienced or starting insect and worm breeders to optimise their yield by promoting large-scale insect breeding based on the feeding of suitable co-products.

Feed for insects

Insects and worms can be bred on a ration that is based on of co-products from the food, drinks and biofuel industry.

Potato peel, brewers grains and pressed pulp, among others are very suitable co-products for the feeding of (meal, morio and earth) worms, black soldier flies, house and flesh flies. For each type of insect or worm, we can compose a custom-made substrate on the basis of various residual flows. Either as individual raw material or in the form of a complete blend
