From potato to industrial adhesives
The process starts at potato chip and french fry factories, where starch-rich water is collected as a byproduct. We refine this sidestream starch in our factories across Europe. Through careful processing, the starch is modified into a key ingredient for industrial adhesives. Lastly the product is packed according to customer requirements, be it in bulk, big bags or paper bags. It is then shipped worldwide to our customers.
Meeting adhesive industry needs
Our adhesives are already making an impact in industries like paper sack and bag manufacturing. For example, Novinexx CPB for paper sacks and Novinexx P130 for paper bags are high-viscosity formulations. These are ideal for producing paper sacks and bags. Helping manufacturers reduce splashing during application, minimise downtime for cleaning, and increase efficiency.
What sets us apart is our ability to customise adhesive properties based on customer needs. Whether it’s packaging or paper. Duynie’s in-house research and development team works closely with clients to create tailored solutions that integrate seamlessly into their production processes.
Economic benefits
Our approach doesn’t just benefit the environment; it also offers economic advantages. The reduction in plant downtime due to less splashing and cleaning increases productivity. Also, the curing time of our adhesives are lower which means you can ship sooner and save on warehousing costs.
