Duynie Feed is part of a Circular Feed research trial being conducted by Wageningen Livestock research. The trial looks at the effects of replacing a part of the imported soya with wheat yeast concentrate (WYC) in a dairy goat system. WYC is a plant based co-product released during the processing of wheat. WYC is a high protein liquid feed with a sticky consistency, which mixes well with other raw materials. A good example of how sustainable high quality feed contributes to a dairy ration, which in turn leads to more circular milk and dairy products.
