AgriBioSource supplies sugar-rich products to water purification plants to facilitate the growth of bacteria. In addition, we are a partner in the disposal of organic slurry flows, particularly for the food and drink and tobacco industry. We remove the slurry from the site and clean the silos.
Biological treatment
In a biological wastewater treatment plant, the purifying microorganisms break down the organic contaminants in the wastewater. They consume oxygen during this process, which is introduced into the water using aerators. During the purification process, the microorganisms accrete as slurry flakes (bio-slurry or activated slurry). These slurry flakes are subsequently separated from the purified wastewater through settlement or through membrane filtration.
