Potato starch fluid
During the processing of potatoes into chips, liquid potato starch is formed. The potatoes that come into the factory are washed, after which they are peeled using steam. The peeled potatoes are cut into the desired shape. During cutting, starch ends up in the process water. The starch is extracted from the water using a decanter.
