The process of our sidestream starch solutions
1. Starch extraction
Starch is extracted from process water at French fries & potato chips factories within the EU and transported to our plants.
2. Producing native starch
The starch is sieved, washed, refined and dried to powder. It is now native potato starch.
3. Starch modification
In most applications, starch is modified to achieve specific properties that meet customer performance requirements.
4. Packaging and shipment
Lastly, the product is packed and shipped worldwide in bulk, big bags or paper bags according to customer requirements.
